Delusional Grandiosity, Cognitive Dissonance and the Hell Hole of being ‘Divided and Conquered’

There's a huge amount of New-Age, drug-induced, and religious extremism that promotes delusional grandiosity, especially in the USA. The ‘spiritually-centered’ consider themselves awakened revolutionaries whether they be adherents to ‘wellness culture’, ‘Burningman, ‘Growers’, ‘Evangelical Pentecostal MegaChurches' or 'secret Catholic cults'. In all of these ‘scenes' there is literally no accountibility to an ‘oversight’ committee or authority. Whether your blitzed out on Ketamine or Ecstasy, or speaking in tongues and convulsing on the floor, or both, it's likely that what is being experienced is not grounded in the responsibility or meaning of being a Spiritual Being having a Human Experience on this Earth plane.
Folks are missing the forest for the trees. Once they are down the polarized rabbit hole they will join whatever side maintains and inflates their delusional bubble best. I know something about this because 30 years ago i was a 'nun' in a fundamentalist christian cult. What folks in an echo chamber fear the most is ‘reality’ breaking into their psychic bubble - realities like the scientific method or a Constitutional Rule of Law - because living by these contracts requires meticulous fact-checking and self-governance that is grounded in accountability. The more time they've hid out in their echo chambers they increasingly become ill-equipped to function or compete under such circumstances and requirements.
Also, i can personally attest to the fact that ascribing to fundamentalist religious zealotry is a life of misery. It's oppressive, shaming, divisive, abusive and hateful, all in the name of the ‘sacred’. We ask how ‘spiritual’ people can support a shameless hypocrite like Drumpf? They have been raised in the ‘Gas-lit Chamber’ and their cognitive dissonance is deeply rooted within them. When they come across humbly authentic people, people who are working on wholeheartedly loving themselves unconditionally, they react to what it reflects back to them - in the reflection of this mirror they starkly see the misery caused by the way those they trusted forced them to submit. It’s A LOT to process.
In these moments they know deep inside that they've drunk, or been force-fed, the Kool Aid and that 'their Emperor or Empress is wearing no cloths". That's when they come after the wholehearted ones, resolved that they cannot UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES let them live their own lives. It's ugly, and I know it because I was there, and I've worked for decades to root it out from my DNA and Spirit.
I went to a Drumpf rally here in Phoenix the other day and a Kamala rally here two weeks ago. I witnessed for myself that the Drumpfers are a miserable bunch compared to the Harris family. I think I easily converted quite a number of Drumpfers that I interviewed just because I was smiling and full of life force. That's what we need to do - stop the segregation! Every side of the aisle has hugely excellent points. We have to listen to each other, respect our differences, share our wisdom, and cohere around standing up as the crucial force in our democratic system - the peaceful people who have the power. The 99% have a critical job to do in a democracy. We have to stop the petty finger pointing. We have a job to do and that is to keep the 1% in check!
Can we please stop evading our part in this current shitshow by simply blaming the other side of the aisle? Our job is to cohere, and it is the ‘hardest task that history ever wrote’, but the most meaningful and rewarding work to roll up our sleeves, pull up our bootstraps and dig into to. Shall we go, you and I while we can…
